St John’s Church Crowborough has a responsibility to promote the welfare and safety of all children, young persons and vulnerable adults.

St John’s Safeguarding, Health & Safety Guidance Polices

Welcome to the website of St John’s Crowborough.

St John’s is a Parish in the catholic tradition of the Church of England. But we hope it is a place of worship and encounter for all who seek God, whatever their tradition or background. We offer different types of services to cater for all needs.

We hope that you enjoy your visit to our web site and that it gives you an insight into life together at St John’s. We are an active and growing congregation, and you would be assured of a warm welcome.

The Diocesan Children’s Safeguarding Policy has been adopted by St John’s and is implemented in all our work with children and young people. All staff and volunteers are DBS checked and have completed the required training.

Should you or someone in the parish need support or prayers said for them during this time of uncertainty, please contact one of the Church Wardens.

Keep the faith!

Lord, by your cross and passion you have set us free. You are the Saviour of the world.

Praying for the diocese with Bishop Martin

A number of people have asked how they might contribute financially towards the continuing work and mission of St John's.
Our income has significantly reduced since the pandemic and lock down started, but unfortunately our ongoing costs remain largely unchanged.  So, all donations will be gratefully received.
